RCCG — Redeem Christian Church of God

OBJECTIVE:

Musically Yours was brought in to design and install a complete sound reinforcement and backline package for the new sanctuary at Redeem Christian Church of God. The goal was to deliver a turnkey audio solution that would support dynamic worship services — from spoken word and praise to a full live band — with clear, powerful coverage throughout the room.

Project Summary:

This installation brought a brand-new sanctuary to life with a professional-grade sound system and full stage backline. On the front-of-house side, we deployed a pair of DAS Audio Vantec 215A tops paired with Vantec 218A subwoofers, delivering clean, full-range coverage for the congregation. Four DAS Audio Action M512A monitors were positioned across the stage to give the worship team the on-stage clarity they need to perform confidently. All system tuning and management runs through a DBX Driverack Venue 360. Mixing duties are handled by an Allen & Heath QU-5 digital console connected to an Allen & Heath DX168 stagebox, keeping the stage clean with a single digital snake run. For wireless, we installed five Shure SLXD dual-channel systems — giving the church up to ten wireless channels — with Beta 58A and Beta 87A capsules for vocalists. The entire RF setup is fed through a Shure UA844 distribution system with UA874US directional antennas for reliable, interference-free performance. The backline package includes a Yamaha Stage Custom Birch drum kit in Black Raven with a Zildjian S Series cymbal setup, a Yamaha MODX M8 synthesizer for keys, and an Ampeg Rocket B210 bass amplifier. A Sennheiser Drumkit 600 mic set rounds out the stage with dedicated drum miking. The result is a worship space that’s ready to go from day one — plug in, power up, and play.
